Coraid Vice President of North American Sales Josh Leslie Recognized as a 2012 Channel Chief

Leslie’s Leadership Honored for Growing Coraid’s Channel Partner Program more than 400 Percent

Redwood City, CA — Coraid® Inc., a leading developer of Ethernet SAN solutions with more than 1,500 customers worldwide, today announced that Josh Leslie, Vice President North American sales, has been named a 2012 Channel Chief by Everything Channel’s CRN. This marks the second consecutive year that Leslie has received this prestigious honor. Channel Chiefs are leaders in creating effective channel programs for solution providers and consistently defend, promote and execute effective channel-partner programs and strategies.

Leslie was selected because of his role in making 2011 one of the biggest years for Coraid’s channel program to date. The company grew its partner base from 50 to more than 250 and added more than 40 new Silver and Gold partners globally.

“Our channel partners are a vital part of our ability to address the continuously evolving requirements of our expanding global customer base,” said Leslie. “We focus on providing our partners with the scalability, performance, and simplicity of Ethernet SAN, which offers a strategic benefit over legacy storage solutions and helps them win deals.”

For the ninth consecutive year, Channel Chiefs were selected by the CRN editorial team based on channel experience, program innovations, channel-driven revenue, and public support for the importance of IT Channel Sales. Applicants were judged based on policy and program innovations made during the past year, the amount of revenue their company generates through partners, their willingness to speak out publicly on behalf of the channel and the number of years they have dedicated to channel activities.
